What is the reason for the slow dissolution rate of polyacrylamide?

The manufacturer of novelty polyacrylamide has a brief introduction to you:

The dissolution rate of polyacrylamide is related to factors such as the type of polyacrylamide, (molecular weight or ionic degree), stirring speed, temperature, and so on!

Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble product that is generally relatively soluble. According to the national standard, the dissolution time of polyacrylamide is 60 minutes to 120 minutes.

1、 Polyacrylamide content issue.

(1) Dissolution time of anionic polyacrylamide: about 30 minutes. Under other normal conditions, the molecular weight of anionic polyacrylamide has a significant relationship with its dissolution rate. Generally, the higher the molecular weight, the faster the dissolution rate.

(2) Dissolution time of cationic polyacrylamide: 60 minutes to 90 minutes. The dissolution rate of cationic polyacrylamide is directly related to its ionic degree. The higher the ionic degree, the faster the dissolution rate.

(3) Non ionic polyacrylamide has a longer dissolution time, ranging from 90 minutes to 240 minutes.

This can be seen that no matter which type of polyacrylamide, the higher the effective content, the faster the dissolution rate!

2、 Problem with the dissolution rate of polyacrylamide.

Also, the stirring speed has a certain impact on the dissolution rate of polyacrylamide. Generally speaking, the faster the stirring speed is, the faster the dissolution rate is. However, there is also an upper limit for the stirring speed. Beyond this upper limit, it is still very harmful to polyacrylamide, and it is easy to cut the molecular chain of polyacrylamide, thereby affecting the dissolution rate.

3、 Polyacrylamide temperature problem.

The dissolution rate of polyacrylamide in warm water is still very fast, but the temperature cannot exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Once this range is exceeded, the dissolution rate of polyacrylamide will slow down, affecting the flocculation effect!

4、 Polyacrylamide product concentration issues.

The smaller the concentration of polyacrylamide, the easier it is to dissolve, so it is very suitable to configure the concentration of polyacrylamide to one thousandth!
