General Definition:

PAM is the abbreviation of polyacrylamide, polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer, widely used in petroleum, paper making, metallurgy, textile, chemical industry and environmental protection. There are three major categories: anionic, cationic and non-ionic. Different applications require different grades of polyacrylamide.

Specifications:

Introduction to the applications of polyacrylamide.

1. In flocculation, PAM can be used for recovery of solids, treatment of industrial wastewater, domestic sewage and purified water, auxiliary filtration, treatment of coal, mining and drilling mud materials, etc.

2. for thicker viscosities, PAM can be used in EOR for oil/gas drilling additives and water injection processes (enhanced recovery).

3. For paper mills, PAM can be used to improve the retention of fillers, accelerate the filterability of the stock and the settling of white water in the paper, and then coagulate to increase the strength of the paper.

4. PAM can also be used in the textile industry.


Solution Formulation:

Effective dispersion is necessary to obtain a homogeneous solution. The most convenient way to disperse these products is to use polymer injectors or commercially available dry powder feeding devices. The solids content of the solution should be between 0.1% and 0.3%. For best product performance, the temperature of the supplemental water should be between 30-40°. The anionic solution concentrations recommended above will be stable for up to one week. Aluminum, zinc, copper or iron should be avoided in cosmetic systems.


Packaging:

The solid product is packaged in kraft paper bags lined with plastic bags, 25 kg per bag.
